If, dear readers, you have noticed that we've been MIA lately, it's because my Mom, the interior designer, gutted her entire kitchen a few months ago, and had it completely rebuilt. Some hilarity ensued when she began cooking from a makeshift kitchen in the hallway. However, the final product is breathtaking (see the sneak peek below?) Stay tuned for the full reveal with before and after photos, coming soon!
And, as if one construction project in the family wasn't enough, my husband and I have decided to build a home in OKC. Right now, it's just a slab with a huge bunker-of-a-storm-shelter sticking out of it. But one day (I hope in this decade), it will be beautiful. And if we're still married by the time it's finished, I think we might just live in it.
